7 Best Printful Alternatives in 2026 (Compared for Indian Sellers)

|

Two things about Printful changed recently, and both matter before you pick a replacement.

First, Printful and Printify are now the same company. They announced a merger in November 2024, and on 25 November 2025 the parent brand FYUL launched, covering Printful, Printify and Snow Commerce. Both platforms still run under their own names, but “switch from Printful to Printify” is no longer a switch between rivals.

Second, if your customers are in India, Printful was never really built for you. India sits in Printful’s Worldwide shipping zone, which means roughly $11.99 to ship a single t-shirt, 10 to 20 business days in transit after fulfilment, and a parcel that arrives duties unpaid so your customer gets a customs bill they did not expect.

That is the real reason most Indian sellers go looking. Here is what the numbers look like, then seven alternatives worth considering.

Why sellers leave Printful

Printful itself is a good platform. It has in-house production, consistent print quality and a free plan, with an optional Growth plan at $24.99 a month that is waived once you pass $12,000 in annual sales. A Bella+Canvas 3001 in size M runs about $11.69, and US domestic shipping starts around $4.75.

Those numbers work if you sell to American buyers. They fall apart if you do not.

  • Shipping to India costs more than the shirt’s margin. Around $11.99 for the first t-shirt, before you have added your own profit.
  • Delivery takes weeks, not days. 2 to 5 business days to produce, then 10 to 20 business days in transit, and longer to remote pincodes.
  • Your customer pays customs. Printful ships duties unpaid, so the charge lands on your buyer at the door. That is a refund request waiting to happen.
  • No cash on delivery. COD is still a large share of Indian ecommerce, and a US platform simply does not offer it.

If you are still working out whether the unit economics make sense at all, we broke that down separately in is print on demand profitable in India.

7 best Printful alternatives in 2026

1. Blinkstore

Blinkstore homepage for print on demand dropshipping in India

Blinkstore is one of the top print on demand suppliers in India. It is free forever, with no monthly fee and no deposit. You get a white-labelled storefront, 50-plus products to upload designs onto, unlimited stores and unlimited listings, and you set your own margin on every product.

Everything ships within India, so the shipping and transit problem above simply does not arise. Customers pay by UPI, debit card, credit card, net banking or the usual Indian wallets.

The honest limitation: Blinkstore does not support cash on delivery yet, and international orders are bulk only. If COD is essential to your niche, look at Qikink or Printrove below.

Best for: sellers who want zero fixed cost and a storefront handed to them on day one.

2. Qikink

Qikink homepage showing print on demand dropshipping in India with COD and zero RTO charges

Qikink has been running since 2016 and is the most complete Indian option on catalogue width, with 350-plus products and coverage across 29,000-plus pincodes.

Shipping runs about ₹54 plus GST per 500g, with COD at roughly ₹34 plus GST and no RTO charge, which is the detail that matters most if you sell COD. Dispatch is typically 2 to 4 days. It connects to Shopify, WooCommerce and Amazon.

Best for: sellers who need COD and the widest Indian product catalogue.

3. Printrove

Printrove homepage, an India print on demand and dropshipping fulfilment platform

Printrove is the other serious Indian fulfilment platform, with around 250-plus products and a reputation for print quality on premium apparel.

Shipping is a flat ₹60 per 500g with COD around ₹50. Its 24-hour express dispatch is the fastest published turnaround among the Indian options. A ₹5,000 Business Plan unlocks COD, automatic order fulfilment, custom branding and self-shipping.

Best for: sellers who care most about dispatch speed and print quality, and can justify the plan fee.

4. Printify

Printify homepage showing a free plan, 2000+ products and global delivery

Printify is the usual first suggestion, and it is genuinely strong: a free plan covering 5 stores, 2,000-plus products, and a network of third-party print providers that competes on base price. Premium is $39 a month, or $24.99 a month billed annually, and adds up to 10 stores plus product discounts of up to 33% on new products.

Know this first: Printify and Printful now share a parent company. If you are leaving Printful because of pricing direction or support policy rather than a specific product gap, moving to Printify may not get you as far from the problem as you expect.

Best for: sellers outside India who want the lowest base costs and the widest catalogue.

5. Gelato

Gelato homepage, a global print on demand platform with local production in 32 countries

Gelato’s whole pitch is local production. It produces in 32 countries and reports that roughly 87% of orders are made in the same country they are delivered to, which cuts both shipping cost and the customs problem at the same time.

It is free to start and you pay per order. Paid tiers add product discounts and extras; the subscription only pays for itself once your discount savings exceed the fee, so start free and do the maths at your own volume.

Best for: sellers with customers spread across several countries.

6. Gooten

Gooten homepage offering 525+ print on demand products through a managed fulfilment network

Gooten runs a managed network of vetted print partners across apparel, drinkware, wall art and home goods, with 525-plus products and routing that picks a production location per order.

It is built for volume rather than beginners, and it does not publish subscription pricing, so you will need to talk to them to get real numbers.

Best for: established stores with steady order volume outside India.

7. Fourthwall

Fourthwall homepage offering branded shops and custom products with no upfront costs

Fourthwall is built for creators rather than general ecommerce. It gives you a branded shop plus memberships and digital products alongside physical merch.

There is a free plan, and a Pro plan at $15 a month or $180 a year that includes $120 of shop credit annually. It does not take a revenue share on catalogue products, you simply pay the product cost; digital products and memberships carry a 5% fee, and payment processing is 2.9% plus 30 cents.

Best for: creators with an audience who want merch, memberships and digital products in one shop.

How to actually choose

Answer one question before you compare anything else: where do your buyers live?

  1. Mostly India. Use an Indian platform. Blinkstore if you want no fixed cost, Qikink if you need COD, Printrove if dispatch speed decides your reviews. Shipping a shirt from the US to Pune will never make money.
  2. Mostly US or Europe. Printify or Gelato. Gelato if your orders are spread across countries, Printify if they are concentrated in one.
  3. You have an audience, not just a shop. Fourthwall, because memberships and digital products sit alongside the merch.
  4. Serious volume already. Talk to Gooten and compare their quote against what you pay now.

Frequently asked questions

Are Printful and Printify the same company now?

Yes. They announced a merger in November 2024, and the parent brand FYUL launched on 25 November 2025, covering Printful, Printify and Snow Commerce. Both still operate under their own names and platforms, but they are no longer independent competitors.

Does Printful ship to India?

Yes, but India falls in Printful’s Worldwide zone. That means around $11.99 to ship a single t-shirt, 10 to 20 business days in transit after fulfilment, and parcels sent duties unpaid, so your customer is charged customs on arrival.

What is the cheapest Printful alternative?

For Indian sellers, Blinkstore has no fixed cost at all: no monthly fee, no deposit, unlimited stores and listings, and you set your own margin. Outside India, Printify’s free plan is the usual starting point, though its base product costs still apply per order.

Which Printful alternative supports cash on delivery in India?

Qikink and Printrove both do. Qikink charges roughly 34 rupees plus GST for COD with no RTO charge; Printrove offers COD on its Business Plan at around 50 rupees. Blinkstore does not support COD yet.

Is Printify actually cheaper than Printful?

Often yes on base product cost, because Printify routes orders through competing third-party print providers rather than its own factories. The trade-off is less consistency, since quality depends on which provider fulfils your order.

Do I need to pay a monthly fee to use print on demand?

No. Blinkstore, Qikink, Gelato, Printify and Fourthwall all have a free tier where you pay only when an order comes in. Paid plans mainly buy product discounts or extra stores, and they only make sense once those savings beat the subscription.
